With the advent of digital cameras, his passion for photography deepened. William began making water housings for digital slr cameras and testing them in waves of consequence like the infamous Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu. He found himself in the best of both worlds capturing unique images from makai to mauka and with encouragement from private collectors he began sharing his art in print form.
His work has been featured in local magazines, calendars, art galleries and gift shops. He continues to serve in forest stewardship and treasures time spent mauka among the trees. His main goal with his art is to share glorious visions of nature’s miracles with others and spread awareness of the unique, invaluable aina of Hawaii.
